Ransomes MP 495 mower parts

The MP 495 is a gang mower that is built on the MP system of Ransomes. The 495 has five reels, that give it a great capacity. It is ideal for the rougher mowing jobs. The machine is often used on sports pitches and in public green spaces.

5 gang reel mower

The five units are available in the Sport 200 and Magna variety. The reel units of the Sport 200 exist in several thicknesses and are used for the finer mowing jobs. The difference in thickness allow the user to adjust the height of cut between 9mm and 89mm. The Magna reels are used for a height of cut from 12,7 until 61 mm. The gang reels give the machine a mowing width of 3,5 meter. This gives the machine a mowing capacity of 3,78 hectares per hour.

MP system

The MP system is a maintenance-friendly machine from Ransomes. The parts are interchangeable between machines, so less parts need to be in stock to keep your machines running. The system is beneficial for machine parks that have multiple mowers that are built on the MP system.
