Tiller blades and accessories for your freesmessensen machine

Attach Tiller blades

A rotary tiller has blades that are alternately attached. This makes half of the blades tillers left and the other half of the tiller blades right. There is a difference between the positioning of the cutting surface. When you buy freesmessensen blades watch if this is a right turning or left turning model.

The difference between C shaped and L shaped tiller blades

For freesmessensen there are several shapes of tiller blades available. A C shaped blade needs less power to tiller than a L shaped blade. If you need to perform at a deep tiller dept C shaped blades are mostly used.

An L shaped freesmessensen tiller blade has a sharper angle. This is the original tiller blade model. The specific design of the blades prevents compacting of the soil.

Left and right mounted

A rotavator exists of several knives that are alternately mounted. Half of the blades turns right and half of the blade turns left. There is a difference between the side where the cutting edge of the blade is. Check if you blade turns left or right when replacing.

C shaped an L shaped blades

The shape of a rotavator blade dictates the power that is needed to operate it. A C shaped blade needs less power because of its shape than an L shaped blade. These blades are often used when the operating depth is more than 5 centimetres. They can also be used at higher speeds
An L shaped rotavator blade is used when the operating depth is less than 5 centimetres. This is the original design of the rotavator blades which prevents the soil from compacting.
