C shaped an L shaped blades
The shape of a rotavator blade dictates the power that is needed to operate it. A C shaped blade needs less power because of its shape than an L shaped blade. These blades are often used when the operating depth is more than 5 centimetres. They can also be used at higher speeds
An L shaped rotavator blade is used when the operating depth is less than 5 centimetres. This is the original design of the rotavator blades which prevents the soil from compacting.
