Tiller blades and accessories for your Claas machine
Claas wearing parts that fit your machinery from RDM Parts. You want to keep the results of your machine optimal, that’s why it is important to replace wearing parts in time. Dulling of your Tiller blades is caused by the contact with soil and stones. To get the right replacement parts check the parts manual of your Claas machine.
the attaching of Tiller blades
A rotary tiller has blades that are alternately attached. Half of the blades turns left and half turns right. There is a difference between the positioning of the cutting surface. When you buy Claas blades watch if this is a right turning or left turning model.
Attaching C shaped or L shaped tiller blades
The force that is needed to power your Claas rotary tiller is determined by the shape of the blade and the extend of processing you want to do to the soil. There are C shaped tiller blades that have a gradual bend and L shaped blades that have a sharp band. A C shaped blade is often used at tiller depts that exceed 5 centimetres.
An L shaped Claas tiller blade has a sharper angle. This means that the blade needs more power to process the soil. At shallow depts of less than 5 centimetres the L shaped blade is often used. A clear advantage of the blade is that it prevents soil compacting.
