Fleetguard fuel filter FF105C
Impurities that are in the fuel are filtered out with a fuel filter. These impurities are for example small particles that do not belong in the fuel and water. Without the fuel filter these particles could cause damage and irregularities in the engine to the point where the engine malfunctions. Replace the fuel filter regularly with the fuel filter FF105C of Fleetguard. Before replacement, check the parts manual to make sure the FF105C part fits for your machine.
Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. The fuel filter is specifically designed by Fleetguard to filter out the water and particles from the fuel. After a while, the filter will be full of water and particles and this can impact the performance of the engine because the fuel cannot pass through the filter properly. It is then time to replace the fuel filter for a new Fleetguard filter. Check the parts manual for the place of the fuel filter on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel filter has an inlet for the fuel and an outlet for the cleaned fuel. Make sure you connect the fuel filter in the right way.
