Fleetguard fuel filter FS53028
Particles that should not be in the fuel are filtered out of the solution with a fuel filter. This dirt could be water, sand or dust that possibly entered the fuel during a fill up. Without the filter these contaminants can reach the engine unopposed. Replace the fuel filter regularly with the fuel filter FS53028 of Fleetguard. Replacing the Fleetguard fuel filter
From the moment the engine is started, the fuel runs through the hoses and the fuel filter to the engine. The fuel filter is specifically designed by Fleetguard to filter out the water and particles from the fuel. These water and pieces will slowly clog the filter. Before the filter is fully clogged it is important to replace it for a new one. The parts manual prescribes where the fuel filter is mounted on the machine. This will be somewhere between the fuel tank and the engine. The fuel filter is recognized by its inlet for the fuel hose and the outlet where the filtered fuel runs through. When mounting the part, check if the fuel filter is properly connected to the system.
