Fleetguard oil filter LF17579
The moving parts of the machine do not work without oil. This oil absorbs impurities that form by wear and combustion and they ensure a smooth movement of parts. Fleetguard has the oil filter LF17579 that takes these contaminating particles from the oil. The parts manual states if the Fleetguard oil filter with number LF17579 fits on the machine.
Replace the Fleetguard oil filter
When starting the machine, the oil starts flowing through the system and the oil filter. After many hours of work, the oil filter will slowly start to get clogged signalling it is time for a new oil filter from Fleetguard. It is then time to replace the oil filter for a new Fleetguard filter. We advise a rubber strap, chain or wrench to make it easier to dismount the oil filter. While you are busy replacing the oil filter, remember to replace the old oil so you start out with a clean system.
