This R5-3195 reel fits on the reelmowers from Toro and replaces the original with number R5-3200. Mowers with cutting reels are mainly used for precise mowing jobs on the sports and golf courses and for the public green spaces. The mowing result is very good because the mowers can mow precisely down to the millimetre.
Mowing reels have a set of blades on a cylinder. In the case of the R5-3195 the reel has 9 blades on the cylinder. The rotating movement catches the grass between the reel and the bedknife. A requirement for this is that the knife edges on either side are very sharp. A dull blade tears the grass and damages it on top of that it makes the grass look unevenly cut.
Reels R5-3195 worn down?
