Reel - 7 blade - rear unit

Product information "Reel - 7 blade - rear unit"

The R600213 reels fits for your Brouwer reelmower and replaces the original with nummer LMA0201-7. The kind of mower is mainly used for very precise cutting on the sports or golfcourse and in public green spaces. This is due to the even mowing result of the reel and the ability to cut the grass exactly down to the millimetre.

A series of sharp blades are put on a cylinder and come into contact with the bedknife. The R600213 had 7 blades mounted on the cylinder. The grass is caught between the blades on the cillinder and the sweeping motion cuts the grass on the bedknife. A requirement for this is that the knife edges on either side are very sharp. A dull blade can rip the grass which causes damage to the grass plant.

A worn down reel? Your reel is not worn down when the blades are dull. These can be sharpened in a simple manner. When the mowing result is bad or when the reel and bedkife cannot be adjusted properly, you are probably needing a new reel.
