Reel - 8 blade

This RAMT1016 reel fits on the reelmowers from John Deere and replaces the original with number AMT1016. Mowers with cutting reels are mainly used for precise mowing jobs on the sports and golf courses and for the public green spaces. The mowing result is very good because the mowers can mow precisely down to the millimetre.

A series of sharp blades are put on a cylinder and come into contact with the bedknife. On the RAMT1016 there are 8 knives mounted. The rotating movement catches the grass between the reel and the bedknife. This happens best when the blades is sharpened on the cylinder and the bedknife.
